A Magical Start in Terminal 5
The celebrations kicked off with a surprise performance at Terminal 5, where waiting families and friends were delighted by the choir’s uplifting songs. Passengers were invited to request custom performances, creating unique and emotional reunions through personalized musical greetings. From heartfelt dedications to joyous crowd singalongs, it was an unforgettable start to Heathrow’s festive season.
Support from Heathrow’s Helpers
Adding to the festive cheer, over 500 members of Heathrow’s ‘Here to Help’ team and 70 Heathrow Volunteers are ready to assist passengers throughout the busy holiday period. Equipped with a multilingual guide for delivering “Happy Holidays” wishes in several languages, the airport’s team aims to ensure every traveler experiences a warm and welcoming journey.
Spreading Holiday Cheer
“There’s nothing like that magic feeling of walking out of Heathrow arrivals, spotting your loved one and giving them a big hug – especially at Christmas,” said Lee Boyle, Head of Services at Heathrow. “We’re thrilled to have the Northants Sings Out choir bringing an extra touch of holiday spirit, spreading festive cheer and giving a warm, heartfelt welcome to travelers from around the world.”
Gareth Fuller, Co-founder of the choir, added: “We are so excited to bring the magic of Northants Sings Out to Heathrow this Christmas. Music has an incredible way of bringing people together, and our choir is passionate about spreading festive cheer to everyone we meet.”
