Avianca Cargo’s engagement with Cargo iQ dates back to 2014 when the carrier joined as an associate member. Despite a brief absence from the organization in 2020, the airline rejoined in 2023 with a renewed focus on embracing Cargo iQ’s methodologies to foster continuous improvement in its operations.

Recognition and Future Goals
In addition to achieving the Cargo iQ certification, Avianca Cargo was lauded for its innovative strategies and dedication to corporate social responsibility. These key attributes were acknowledged during the Cargo iQ Classification Program, highlighting the carrier’s exceptional efforts in raising industry benchmarks.

Moving forward, Avianca Cargo has pledged to conduct semi-annual reviews in collaboration with the operations team, ensuring that GHA station performance data is accurately reflected in the shipment planning parameters. This commitment signals the company’s determination to continuously refine its air cargo processes and service offerings.
