Fahari Aviation to Host Groundbreaking Advanced Air Mobility Symposium in Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya – January 22, 2025 – Fahari Aviation, a Kenya Airways subsidiary specializing in next-generation aviation technologies such as Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), is set to host the first-ever Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Symposium in Nairobi from March 18–19, 2025.

This landmark event will focus on exploring how AAM can revolutionize transportation across Africa, particularly through sustainable and innovative applications. Given Fahari Aviation’s role in leveraging drone technologies to overcome logistical and transportation challenges, especially in hard-to-reach areas, the symposium aligns with its broader mission to enhance connectivity across both urban and rural regions in Africa.

Key highlights of the symposium include:

  • Global Case Studies: Participants will learn from urban air mobility models in cities like Paris, New York, and Singapore, gaining insights into how similar frameworks can be adapted for Africa’s unique geographical and infrastructural challenges.
  • Technology Showcases: Attendees will explore state-of-the-art developments in Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft and related innovations shaping the future of flight.
  • Thought Leadership: The event will feature discussions with global experts on AAM concepts, practical applications, and their transformative potential for Africa’s mobility and logistics sectors.

The symposium will bring together a diverse mix of stakeholders including government officials, technology developers, OEMs, industry operators, and aviation stakeholders. It aims to foster collaboration and spark dialogue around building a robust, sustainable, and inclusive AAM ecosystem tailored to Africa.

General Manager of Fahari Aviation, Mr. Hawkins Musili, emphasized the importance of this forum, stating, “The Africa AAM Symposium is a crucial step toward redefining aviation across the continent. It’s not just about embracing new technologies—it’s about building meaningful global partnerships and ensuring that Africa plays a central role in shaping the future of air mobility.”

This event promises to be a must-attend for professionals, innovators, and enthusiasts passionate about the evolution of air transportation in Africa.
